Services Offered
Submissions Support: I can offer start-to-finish publication support for poets and writers looking to place their work. This includes researching and tracking Canadian and International journal and contest deadlines, identifying best-fit magazines for specific pieces or writing styles, and tailoring submissions to each publication’s preferred aesthetic and guidelines. I handle cover letters, submission formatting, and meticulous tracking of pending and simultaneous submissions, including follow-ups and correspondence with editors when timelines stretch or issues arise.
My approach is both strategic and humane. I have developed a thorough and thoughtful understanding of how some publishing ecosystems work, and I know how to advocate for your work while building up your publishing reputation without burning bridges. If your goal is to get published consistently and with care (perhaps for the first time ever!), I bring the organizational rigor and lived experience to help make that happen.”
Special Interests
Big-idea feedback and line-level edits for poetry; publication-focused editing to align work with journal or contest aesthetics; submission management including formatting, cover letters, and guideline compliance; tracking of deadlines, simultaneous entries, and strategic submission planning; professional correspondence with editors and journals as needed.
