Focus
Fiction, nonfiction
Special Interests
Book-length and short fiction (stories, novellas); creative nonfiction; essay; memoir; biography and autobiography; articles; profiles; how-to books; metafiction and experimental writing. I like to read all kinds of fiction and nonfiction. I especially enjoy texts that deal with the arts, culture and culinary heritage, foreign destinations, politics and history, family and relationships. I am particularly interested in working with emerging writers to get that first title published.

Testimonial
“I needed someone who could help me get my first novel ready for submission to publishers. Licia was the right choice. She quickly put the spotlight on what crippled the story. Thanks to her precise feedback, my scenes are now more gripping, the tensions sharper and the dialogue crisper. Her detailed literary diagnosis came with an easy-to-follow prescription to tame everything from critical details of main characters to errant commas. She was fast, thorough and patient, taking the time to explain every intricacy. I can’t wait to work with her again with my second novel.” Russell Fralich, Professor, HEC Montréal.
