Brief Bio
I am a writer, editor and first-generation Canadian who has spent the last twenty years living and travelling all over the world. I’ve published more than two dozen short stories and poems in literary journals in Canada and the UK. I’ve been part of an editorial collective for two literary magazines and edited more than a dozen manuscripts—literary, YA and MG. My middle-grade historical novel, How to Be a Goldfish (Scholastic Canada 2022), was on the CBC’s Canadian middle-grade books to watch for in fall 2022.
Services Offered
Wondering why your manuscript is not getting any traction? Not sure how to tackle your rewrites? We’ll begin with a virtual chat. After I’ve read your manuscript, we will meet again (virtually) and discuss the good bits and the bits that need some attention. Together we’ll come up with a plan that you are comfortable with. My goal is to give you feedback on your novel and get you excited about tackling those rewrites. After our second chat, I will send you an annotated copy.
Proofreading and copyediting services are not offered.
