Bio

I am an experienced scholar, editor, translator, and novelist. I taught British literature, postcolonial theory, and cultural studies for twelve years and published five books, including Questioning Hybridity, Postcolonialism and Globalization (2011) and Rethinking Postcolonialism (2008). Both constitute major contributions to postcolonialism, multiculturalism, the history of ideas, and social and political science studies.

As an editor, I worked for several years with various academic and non-academic partners. I directed several editing projects, ensuring completion in a timely manner; I assisted with project management, provided structural and scientific feedback, as well as content and style editing. I have also served for many years as a manuscript assessor for trade and academic publishers.

Thanks to a thorough knowledge of the academic world and a proven expertise in writing, editing, and translation, I can provide grant writing services as well as comprehensive full text revision for your journal article, dissertation, or any other scientific, governmental or corporate document. I’ll ensure consistency in style, terminology, tone, and structure – particularly valuable for multi-author projects. I can also assist emergent writers with coaching, planning, and substantive editing, to sharpen their project’s argument, enhance its clarity, coherence, and consistency, to lift it to a publishable standard.

Services Offered

I provide editorial assistance; critical feedback; global response; detailed line editing; full edit; in-person consultation and coaching.

Special Interests

Biography, history, politics, and cultural themes. I particularly enjoy working with emerging writers and researchers.
