Special Interests
Alexia has an interest in translating and/or editing translated texts – and enjoys the delicate, playful balancing act such work requires. With a background in literary studies, cultural studies and food studies, she is a keen reader of cookbooks, food memoirs, culinary histories, and other forms of literary cookery.
Brief Bio
Alexia holds a PhD in études anglaises from Université de Montréal. Having completed an fqrsc post-doctoral fellowship with McGill’s Department of English and McGill’s Institute for the Study of Canada, she now runs a collective of scholarly editors and translators called redline-lignerouge. She is a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada.
