Special Interests

Art and culture, history, politics, Indigenous themes, religion and spirituality. Mind you, I am a quick study—curious and versatile—so even if you don’t see your theme represented here, please inquire anyway.

Brief Bio

Everybody wants innovation and “outside the box” thinking, but in practice few people get as far as lifting the lid. To my twenty years as a writer and editor, I add a BA in medieval history and an MFA in visual art, as well as a voracious appetite for books and magazines, so my clients are assured of working with a broadly informed, critical and creative freelance professional. Widely sought after for style, accuracy and responsiveness to clients’ needs, I guarantee solid, problem-free copy, including SEO copy, to meet your personal and publishing needs.

I have written copy for UNICEF Canada, Concordia University, Montréal Arts Interculturels, Art Mûr (Montreal) and scores of other organizations and individual clients, as well as for Canadian Art, Border Crossings, Canadian Dimension, C Magazine, Fuse and other magazines. Selected current and past editing clients include the University of Calgary Press, Wilfrid Laurier University Press (Waterloo), MennoMedia (Harrisonburg, Virginia) and Véhicule Press (Montreal).
